Default PCOS Tattoo

Does anyone have a tattoo they got for/about PCOS?

I am thinking about altering a lame butterfly tattoo I have into a PCOS tattoo.

I have 3 tattoos (none are PCOS related) but I would actually consider covering one of my tattoos that I don't want anymore w/ something PCOS related. I think it's a great idea for those who like tattoos and want to display PCOS commemoration on their bodies.

Here's a link to one I googled on the internet. I like the concept very much though would not want to copy it. Turquoise colors represent PCOS and I like how she incorporated the birds and the needle to represent injections. I would probably do a variation of this, leave the needle out (put something else in it's place) and the banner that wraps around the needle I would make bigger then maybe eventually put a future child's name/birthdate in it or something. It just seems very flowy and pretty!

emmilynn - I have seen that one. I don't particularly care for it.

This is the link for one I liked the idea of. I have seen a lot of images that include the ribbon and a butterfly.

I have a lame wanna-be butterfly tattoo on the back of my shoulder. I wanna add more detail to the butterfly and add the ribbon. I might add the word HOPE to the ribbon. Not sure yet though.

I like that one too! The green ribbon is traditional PCOS symbol. Maybe you could wrap the ribbon around the butterfly and have the butterfly in the center? If you get it done, I'd love to see it!

I have been contemplating a PCOS tattoo myself. Here is what I was thinking about. What do you think?

I like that, Darlin! Is that angel wings behind the ribbon? I can't really make out what it is but it's very pretty and simple

I have 2 tattoos and both of them are IF related. They aren't PCOS specific though. One is Arabic calligraphy of the word "Grandma" in my family's dialect which I got 3 years ago to honor my Mom and Grandma. I designed it into the shape of an abstract butterfly. The other is the word Imagine in a script based on John Lennon's handwriting. John Lennon and the Beatles are huge inspirations to me. I got this last August after my surgery when we discovered I had endo and a blocked tube in addition to PCOS. That one had some foreshadowing in it since we are now adopting embryos that are a different race and are getting some negative feedback about it. I hope we can all Live in Peace. I don't know if I would ever get a specific PCOS one though. I'll definitely be getting another tattoo though!

I have been thinking about getting one too. I really want to have a teal ribbon or something like that on my shoulder. I would also like to have some inspirational words around it.

I want to get one too. I've seen a few, but I'd like to do something original.

My family all think that I take the PCOS too seriously, but it's a part of our lives, ya know? And to make it through each day, you HAVE to remind yourself to be strong and courageous, just like with any other medical problem.
