no support from partner

My girlfriend has decided to leave me saying she doesn't understand. She was supportive of my eating healthier and makes sure I take my birth control every evening, but doesn't want to "deal" with the emotional aspect of it. She says she doesn't understand why I get so upset or why I get so mad. I have just recently been diagnosed and had felt like it was such a weight lifted off my shoulders finally knowing what was wrong. But now I feel like I have no support to help me get into a new routine of eating healthier and working out more. I just feel so hopeless.
