Need OB/GYN in Raleigh area
Hey everyone! Can anyone recommend a OB/GYN that has a history of treating women with PCOS located in the Raleigh area? Thanks!

Hey, I wish I could help but I wouldn't say mine is that helpful when it comes to PCOS, but she's great as an OB. It depends what you want treated. A lot of OBs will just put you on the pill. I suggest just doing your own homework on dealing with PCOS, honestly. If you want treatment for PCOS symptoms like insulin resistance or unwanted hair growth, you could go to Carolina Endocrine or for fertility I highly recommend Carolina Conceptions. I'm sure there are some experienced OBs around here but I don't know who!

I go to Wake OBGYN (Kamm, Mckenzie group) Although I would not say they are experts on PCOS...they were very good about trying to manage and try different things in the beginning. It seems like most physicians are not very familiar with PCOS, but I would say they are a good group. When things just weren't working with TTC they referred us to Carolina Conceptions, who I LOVED!! I also went to Raleigh OBGYN before wake (had to switch due to insurance stuff) but I also liked this group. I saw Dr. Fisher & really LOVED her. She's very personable & caring. I would recommend either one of these. Good Luck!!
