Do I need to have my levels checked?

My doctor never gave me a blood test. I was 10 1/2 weeks when I had my d&c. So I don't know what my levels were while pg. He hasn't tested my levels afterwards either. He didn't do an u/s to make sure he got everything. I asked him how do "we" know if everything was removed. He said HE knows it was and there is no need to check anything..... I will be changing doctors now because of that and a couple of other things that he didn't do while I was pg. I'm going to my family dr in the morning for other reasons. Should I have them check my blood while I'm there?

I've never had a d&c with either of my losses but I would think you still need to get your levels checked. If you wanted to start ttc again, I'm pretty sure that number needs to be at zero. It's so confusing. I had to DEMAND answers after my first m/c because I kept getting the run a round
