We are planning our 2nd annual get together for Aug 6 in Alexandria VA. We are inviting EVERYBODY with PCOS, and their families. All discussions about the gathering should be in the pcosa va board to keep everything together. For personal or private questions please pm or e-mail Christina or Karenh. And please tell everybody, we want this to be huge. There is also a poll about the date, please give us your preference.

I'm new to PCOSA, but not to PCOS, nor to the NoVA area. I don't know many people with PCOS, though. I have had several major surgeries due to the PCOS, and am on my way to losing my 2nd ovary. I have a great medical team that I work with because I have several other health problems as well.

I just am so happy to hear about the get together in August. I am looking for some support in dealing with the recent loss of one ovary and other organs; and in dealing with the reality of the other ovary being severly polycystic, although right now it's wrapped in a protected wrap that will dissolve in about 5-6 months. I look forward to meeting anyone who will be at the get together.

I assume further details will be forthcoming!

We are meeting in Great Falls VA on August 6. We are having a picnic in the park and it's a bring your own food. Time is still to be determined.

This is great.....if we're not dead from the Redskins scrimmage on Saturday, we may make it. However, knowing my homebody honey, he'll be dead. Have fun though!

We will post more info, we are looking toward the fall since summer was so crazy hot.
