okay...well i'm 18 and i got diagnosed with pcos and i'm mainly worried about if you can get pregnant while you have pcos. at first diagnosed i had to take pills that cleaned out my system then i had to start on a bcp called yaz, i had severe side effects, 1. breats grew 1 whole cup size in 1 month 2. i had white puss looking stuff come out of my breasts 3. breasts were always itchy 4. i was tired A LOT 5. it felt like my ovaries were bruised to the point where i could only wear sweat pants. so i stopped taking yaz. then about a week ago i had sex with my boyfriend and ever since that night he keeps thinking that i am pregnant. i keep telling him that it is very hard for me to get pregnant until i get my pco handled. but this past week i have been having a lot of nausea i can only eat fruit without upseting my stomach. now i'm not suppose top start my period until the 8th of january but my periods are generally late a couple of days every month.
so if someone can please answer my main question i would be so excited.

Yes, You can can get pregnant with PCOS. You still need to use BC if you are sexually active and not wanting to get pregnant. You never know when you might ovulate and if you are still getting your period every month you are most likely ovulating, even if your periods are late. If you periods are late you are probably just ovulating a little later than normal. If you had sex a week before your post and you should get your period on the 8th you very well could have been close to ovulation at that time.

well i haven't started my period yet :/ i'm generally always late, but i haven't started the cramping like i normally do by now. i don't mind if i'm pregnant granted i wish it woulda happened later but i have to take care of the actions that happen. my nipples have been hurting and have been getting white spots and i threw up twice today (wasn't like major vomitting just to where i had to spit it out). now i have had the white stuff come out of my nipples before but it stopped for awhile, and now its back, so i'm a little bit shaken up about that. i told the guy that i had the sex with, he has been the love of my life since i was 15 and i turn 19 on friday, and he said that if i am he will still be there so i agreed that if i don't have a period by his birthday(jan 24) then i will take a test.
