AF after D&C

How long did it take af to come after d&c and m/c? Tomorrow will be six weeks for me and I feel like it's coming. I've been spotting (some red, but mostly brown) for the last week. If it doesn't come in a week or two, should I ask RE for prometrium?

It took 3 months after my D&C. Probably not the answer you wanted, but I also never got regular periods before the fertility drugs. Since the m/c I seem to be ovulating on my own.

My RE won't let you go that long. After my D&C, he said I had to have AF within 45 days after my HCG went to 0 or he'd give me Provera. He said sometimes your brain still things you're pregnant and your body doesn't reset itself. It took about 2 weeks after the D&C for my HCG to go to 0. I start AF about 3 weeks after that.

I'm going to mention to my doctor about getting my levels checked. I'm assuming they're at zero since it's been six weeks. He's supposed to call me back by Friday.

I was only about 3 1/2 weeks after my d&c when I got AF...I guess everyone is different. Best bet is to check with your doc...I know my RE was only going to let me go 35 days. HTH

My RE called and will prescribe provera if AF doesn't come in the next 2 weeks. I still feel like it's coming. AF, where are you?
