MET DOSEAGE

I WAS JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT DOSE OF MET/GLUCOPHAGE EVERYONE WAS TAKING. I HAVE BEEN ON 1500 MG OF THE XR FOR 16 MONTHS (GOT PG AFTER 3 MONTHS, NOW HAVE A 5.5 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER - PRAISE GOD) BUT NOW IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HELPING.
MY EXTREME FACIAL/BODY HAIR, MOOD SWINGS, IRR. PERIODS ARE WORSE THAN BEFORE MY PREGNANCY AND I WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE I NEED TO UP THE DOSE?

Lovebug, I got the goosebumps reading your post- I am on 1,000mg Met/day and I just posted in the TTC board that I don't think it's working, now I've only been on for 1 1/2 months and I'm really upset bc I feel so discouraged- I guess I'm lucky but I don't have acne/facial hair and well no periods so I can't help you out there- sorry- I hope things get better for you real soon...

I've been on met for a year and taking 1000mg. I have noticed in the past month or so that it doesn't seem to be working as good as it was. I'm going to call the dr and see about upping up.
