I was wondering if there were people in the Sterling Heights/Warren area who have some kind of support groups going that I could get involved in.

Hi -

I started a group where we could all come together so far we have 10 members and spread throughout the Metro Detroit area.

so here it is:

I hope that you will join the group and that we will continue to grow!
See you in the forum!

I live in Eastpointe. I'd love to start a group for my area, I really need support from people that understand what I'm going through, as I feel like I'm going crazy sometimes!! Even just meeting for coffee ... let me know if anyone's interested ...

RJC27- I grew up in Eastpointe, of course back then it was called East Detroit. What area are you in? I agree about needing support from people who understand. Even dh doesn't get it sometimes.

I live between Gratiot and Groesbeck, between 10 and Stephens. I actually just purchased my first house there in December, which was totally exciting. I do remember when it was called East Detroit ... I actually grew up in Harper Woods, which is now going through the same possible name change process - it's all semantics to me! Where are you at in Warren?

I live in the 12 and Schoenherr area. My best friend lives in your neighborhood. She is on Bell which is at 10 and Gratiot

Hi again,

So it's only been seven months (!) and I had forgotten about our string of emails ... how are you doing? Have you found any good support/medical advice/miracles?? :)

Hey RJC! How are you? No miracles yet for me. I did find someone who I can talk to everyday though. I sent one of the girls I work with to my RE and come to find out she has PCOS. She just found out that she has to have surgery because of one of her cyst. They told her they may have to remove her entire ovary. I suddenly don't feel like I have it so bad. Hope all is going well for you.
