Hi,

I understand that one of the syptoms of PCOS is dark patches of skin under skin folds. My doctor told me that my nuckles show this symptom, but I don't really see it. What I do see are the dark cirles under my eyes.
Does anyone have them? I can not confirm that they are from PCOS. I know it isn't due to lack of sleep. I have had them for years and I am tired of looking tired.
Does anyone know of any medication/treatment?

Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

Hey!! Me too. I have always had dark circles and I find that I cant cover them with makeupat times. I dont know of any medications but I can tell you that the concealer I use for my under eye circles is yellow. Yellow hides dark patches on skin, while green hides red spots. If you hear of any meds, let me know.

Monique,

The ironic thing is, when I was a student pulling 'all nighters', my dark cirlces got lighter-go figure.
I am about to run out of my concelear. What brand do you recommend that I get? What I am using doesn't work great.

Yup, I have them too, as does my grandfather who had type II diabetes, and my mother (his daughter), who has mild pcos. It's so weird to realize these connections as I learn more about pcos. My husband always noted that the three of us share this trait, now I know why.

I have asthma too. But I have also heard that there is a link between asthma and PCOS.
