7. Are you diabeitic? No, I have insulin resistance (the pre-type II diabetes stage)
8. Do you have excessive hair growth (state which areas) Yes: sideburns, on my chin, neck, around the nipples, between my breasts down my tummy

10. Are you on any medication? Yes Birth Control and Metformin
11.Hpe does pcos make you feel? Frustrated and powerless, out of control, unwomanly, undesirable

crazy - do you have to be a teen to respond? I love survey's and would be happy to help, but don't want to skew anything if you are just surveying teens. :)

Well, my age is on my ticker, so do what you will with my responses...I thought I'd just answer them while I was online.

1. When were you diagnosed with PCOS? Jan 2006
2. Do u know of any family members with PCOS? No
3.How old when you got your first period? 14
4. Do u have over frequent or less frequent periods? irregular 21-41 day cycles
5. How long do your periods last? also varies - 3 days to 10+
6. Are you overweight? No
7. Are you diabeitic? No - Insulin Resistant though
8. Do you have excessive hair growth (state which areas) Yes, stomach, nipples, bikini line/thighs, big toes, a few stray chin hairs and a very light mustache
9. any other symptoms (please state) infertility issues
10. Are you on any medication? see my ticker
11.Hpe does pcos make you feel? I have felt fine until starting meds. Now I'm tired, having low blood pressure and low blood sugar symptoms more often.

3.How old when you got your first period? 12
4. Do u have over frequent or less frequent periods? less freq w/out birth control
5. How long do your periods last? I take bc, so around 3-4 days
6. Are you overweight? Yes
7. Are you diabeitic? No
8. Do you have excessive hair growth (state which areas) No
9. any other symptoms (please state) This isn't competely related, but I get migraines when I get my period. I also used to have bad acne.
10. Are you on any medication? Yes. Metformin, Avandia, and Yasmin.
11.How does pcos make you feel? I sometimes get frustrated about not losing weight despite excercising a lot and eating well. But I'm generally happy that this is the worst medical thing I've had to deal with.
