I am still fairly new to this site and somehow made a mistake while logging in. I am "little herb" who posted the above message - "finding a doctor". I now am logged in as Jen S. Still need help finding a doctor. Sorry for the mix up.

Jen,
I don't know where Statton, MI is so I am not sure what hospitals are in your neck of the woods. If you have not been to an Endocrinologist yet, I would check with another Dr. that you do like (your Ob/Gyn, or Primary Care Provider) and ask them to rec. an Endocrinologist. I wish I could be of more help. I do know of some wonderful Dr's in the Downriver and in the Southfield area though. I hope you are able to find someone you trust and like soon.

How far are you from Grand Rapids? I'm seeing an endo here in the city, and he's helped change my life (finally at the age of 38). It's Dr. Kryshack (I might have screwed up the name). He's been very thorough in everything that has gone on. My mother was actually seeing him for a thyroid problem (which is associated with the endocrine system), and I simply asked my physician that I wanted to take all this a step further and get some real answers. He treats a number of women with PCOS, so he's seasoned in the field.

JMH-
I am new to the area and am looking for a doctor- how far downriver are you? Can you please provide the names of the doctors you mention in your email from April? I live in Dearborn, but am familiar with Wyandotte, so would be willing to drive.
Thanks-
Carla
