Doc Recommendations?

Hi All,

I am new to Central Ohio and new to this forum... Any doc recommendations in the Columbus area? I have been diagnosed with PCOS by my doc in my previous state.

I live in Grandview but would travel a tiny bit for a good, proactive doc. I would prefer personal recommendations over randomly trying to call doctors that my insurance company recommends.

You might want to PM lanne because she lives in that area and is pg right now. She'd know a few doctors you could see. I'm too far north of you to recommend anyone (unless you want to drive to Akron)

Hi! What kind of doctor are you looking for? I am originally from Cols. Moved to NC almost 4 years ago... however, back in Cols due to husband being deployed. I live about 5 mins from Grandview and know some great doctors in the area.

Welcome back to Cbus! I still need a gyno, eventually. I have an endo appt. for next month, so I hope that works out. I also need a dentist, though. Kind of off-topic, but dental hygeine is important, too! :D

There is a Dr. Hamoudi right on Grandview Ave. She does family and gyno. She is so nice. I really like her. She has been my doctor for years (15 years to be exact). She can be a little over cautious sometimes.. but I would rather have a doctor that takes more precautions than one that doesn't. There is also a dentist that is in the same building. I have gone to him several times. I like him as well. His name is Dr. Gene Jumper. The office is on Grandview Avenue right across from Giant Eagle (5th and Grandview).

My favorite dentist is a Dr. Carlos Stone. However, once I got married and my dental insurance changed to military.... I had to change dentists...
