I posted in general and probably should have posted here....sorry!! I have not been diagnosed with PCOS yet. But my ovaries are enlarged and polycstic and i have pelvic congestion. I have been on BCP for three months. the cysts have not gone away and I have to go for a transvag and see the doc next week. I want to go armed. How can they tell the difference between PCOS and other diseases? Is it normal for cysts to persist after three months of BCP? What are the treatment options for PCOS and do I need to see a specialist?
