Hi,
this is my first post on this site. I am 30 yrs old any my husband is 31. we married 3 1/2 yr ago, we wer taking precautions , since 5 months we are trying to concieve but my period had been irregular since begining so I went to general OBGYN doc she diagnosed me as PCOS after u/s and blood test , she also did my HSG ,my tubes were found patent and then she put me on clomid initially 50 mg but I did not responded then she put me on 100 mg clomid from day 5 to day 9, I took it for 3 cycles and i ovulated in all these three cycles on 100 mg clomid as I checked it with ovulation prediction kit and my periods bacame regular during these 3 cycles but still I was unable to concieve now I am very very depressed. some body told me to go to infertility specialist but my insurance does not cover infertilty but now i planned to go there . can any one tell me about best infertility dr. in ny city. and does some one has the same problem like me. my friend told me that my dr. should not give me clomid initially instead she had to give me OCP to regulate cycle and then glucophage is it right? the other thing which I SHOULD ASK IS, MY DR. PUT ME ON CLOMID FOR 4 CYCLES WITH OUT CHECKING MY HUSBAND FOR SEMEN ANALYSIS SO SHOULD I SUI HER?
please help me out and share your experience with me if you have same problem. I think I am now leaving hope
