Met and Alcohol

From what I read it's a no, no. I'm obsessed with the s/e of lactic acidosis (sp?)
I enjoy a nice glass of wine with dinner or a cocktail after being out in the yard all day- not a lush but I do enjoy wine.

what are your thoughts?? :?

I have got drunk whilst on met, and to be honest it made me very nasty and i didn't enjoy it. I still do drink but within reason. My doc didn't tell me to not drink alcohol all together so i assume you can in moderation.

When I started Met in March I had terrible s/e to any alcohol.
I have found that now that my body had adjusted to the Met, I can drink 1 small glass of red wine occasionally and I'm okay.
It just depends on you and your body!

I asked my doctor and she said that within reason it is perfectly fine.
