EWCM and BD question

I posted this on the fertility boards but I figured I could post it here also...
Okay so I have a few questions...

I had a miscarraige in February so this cycle my Doc had me take 50 mg of clomid CD 5 to 9 in hopes that I would produce a stronger egg.

So on CD 13, I was in the ER with DH because he had a viral infection. I go to the ladies room and there it is EWCM. GO figure my most fertile day and my husband is hooked up to an IV for dehydration. So obviously no BD'ing that day. On CD 14 we BD'ed at night and I "did all the work" because DH was still weak from being sick. So 2 questions, how long after seeing EWCM do you ovulate? Second, if you're on top do the swimmies have the same chance as if you were laying down?

I think you are definitely within the rhelms (spell) of "egg meet sperm". I normally don't actually o till a couple of days after ewcm. And I really don't think being on top will make that drastic of a difference. Of course being able to lay on your back would have been better, but there are zillions of them lil guys-missin a few shouldn't do any harm. Here's hoping the billions that did survive did the job!!!
