I have missed all of you during our month long break...
DH and I are doing ok. Had a natural m/c, took a month off, getting back on the ttc boat. I know that is probably crazy but it is the only thing that gets my mind off of what happened.
Hope everyone is doing well...

Hi JL.
I saw your post and decided to pop over and say hi. (I hope no one minds!)
I've been thinking about you - and wondering how you were doing, given that the boards have been down for so long. So glad to "see" you and know that you are going to try again. I think that is fantastic! I just know your going to have your dream!
All the best-
Dawn
I am happy to hear from you Jennifer. I have worried about you this whole time. If you want to get on the boat, do it. Let's pray for a smooth sailing this time. Glad you both are ok.

Thank God the boards are back!!! I've joined 3 other boards while this one was down, but this is still my favorite!!!!
jbroyles--I've worried about you! I'm so glad to see that you are doing well.
jada--Hey girl, I grew up in Hollidaysburg. I see you're from Tyrone! That makes me think of Gardner's Peanut Butter Meltaways! (Now I"m hungry!)
Update on me--I have good days and bad days, but I'm seeing a grief counselor now and that has helped. Still needing sleeping pills, but off the painkillers. I go back to work on May 7th to finish out the last 3 weeks of the school year. We are also working on the planning of a memorial garden for our babies. Many of my aunts and uncles donated money towards trees rather than sending flowers and we are planning to purchase the same cherry blossom trees that they have in the tidal basin in Washington, DC. I have also found a website that makes memorial rocks and stones for infant loss.
I'm having more good days than bad so I guess the healing process is underway.
Looking forward to hearing updates on others who are going through this process. I've really missed the support while the boards were down.
Betsy

bbmk- I have thought of you often during this break too. I am glad that you are doing better. I am also glad that you are going to do a memorial for you babies, I'm sure it will turn out beautiful. I feel the same as you, everyday gets a little better. I still cry a lot but after each cry I feel a little bit better. Sometimes I feel though as if people around me think I'm crazy and obsessive over this. People at work have been so unsupportive that I am thinking about quitting my job but I'm not sure yet...

bbmk- jlb- i've thought about you both often and hoped that you were both doing alright.
I am so nervous to be ttc again, i'm also gutted because although i know i now can get pg there is no guarantees it'd be twin or more pg.
These past few months have been a real test of character, i'm sure it has been for you guys... But we are all still here and are strong!

hi girls. How are you all doing?
JL, I am glad that you and DH got the time that you needed to rest and grieve. What a relief it must be though to have some answers to your questions. Is that making you feel better?
DH and I want to try a month on our own, but i have not had AF since my MC on Feb 15th. Any idea how long it should take? Has anybody ever heard of somebody getting PG without a Period after a MC? Just curious becuase my RE wants me to start provera but i am scared becuase it was him starting me on provera last time without blood work that probably caused my MC.

We feel a little better knowing the cause. Hopefully next time we will be able to sustain a pregnancy. FF says I o'd this past friday so we will see. I am not expecting anything this soon.
melfab from what I remember and I could be wrong I think Adri ovulated like 2 weeks after her m/c and got pg without getting AF. Have you tested? I would ask RE for b/w to make sure.

Melfab- I got pregnant after a miscarriage without af first but sadly I miscarried that time as well and then the doctors told me thatI really needed to take a break and let my body rest for 2-3 months. I took a couple of months off, convinced them that I needed heparin and then it took us 3 months to concieve again with just metformin and I ma 19 weeks pregnant this time. Just thought I would let you know how things worked for me.

Hi Girls! So glad the boards are back up. I joined another board but my interest fizzled out because I didn't feel the personal connection.
I'm doing a lot better. Just waiting for my first AF to come. I think it should be any day, it's already been 5 wks since my 2nd D&C. Doc said to wait 2 AF before we start ttc again. I'm really eager to get the show on the road.

I'm here...Sort of...I am taking a ME BREAK, and have actually been enjoying it. The boards being broken actually couldn't have come at a better time for me anyway. I have been dieting 7lbs down-65 to go! I am trying to eat more in moderation vs excess and be active at least everyday. I am still in my waiting period with the doctors. I had my levels checked cd3 w/o the metformin (which is what the endo wanted), he wants to discuss the results with me not this thursday but next thursday. I am actually looking forward to starting the metformin, well maybe not the starting part but after I was adjusted I liked it. So all in all, glad to hear from everyone again.

Oh yes!! Meltaways are the best!! We get our Silky groomed out in Duncansville. I can send some to you if you would like. :D

Good morning ladies,
We are still here. We decided to do a round of Clomid this month and we will see how it goes. I should O this week, progestrone level next week and testing on the 13th. So much for a "Butterball" for Thanksgiving, now it is hoping for a special Christmas present.
I hope all of you are doing well and I'm glad to see some of you on your road to recovery. I've missed being able to see how you all were doing, and many a day I was wishing I could contact you somehow. You have all been in my prayers. We will make it through this journey "together".

Ldp- good luck with clomid, i hope it works for you soon!
Jada- you have made me really hungry for a peanut butter meltaway... i don't even know exactly what it is but it sounds sooo good, i'm guessing it's just peanut butter and choc biscuit... I want one!!!
Kelly, I don't think I can even describe it. LOL They are so good, think of reese's peanut butter cups, but 100 times better. The peanut butter is so creamy and the chocolate melts in your mouth. Yummy!!!!!
