Holly == nope, it's the museum quadrangle in Springfield ... the far less fair city of Mass ... but a really fun day nonetheless. Spfld is Dr. Suess's birthplace ... hence all the statues, etc.

That's adorable! HAS to be a hand-me-down from long ago, right? I love the sailor suit, too. I grew up in the 70's and it was ALL about velvet sailor suits back then. Kids' clothes were so much different when we were growing up. Whenever I see something (either used or new) that makes me nostalgic, I buy it!!! Gavin has an awesome wardrobe!!!

EVERYBODY has gorgeous kids! We're all so lucky!

ANNIE - Molly was wearing the same sleeper as Katie was today!!! Here's a picture of her in it, also not being happy, taken two hours ago. Then a pic of her in a good mood (no colic tonight!!!) and a shot of the backside of the sleeper, which just MAKES the outfit...

Oh, PreemieNurse-she is beautiful!!! Yes, that is the outfit! Once Katie came home with the GJ Tube, I ran out to BRU and bought a bunch of sleeper sets with the buttons so the tube can come out of the outfit and is easily accessible. The ruffles on they hiney are adorable!!

Is she getting a Mic-key button later on when the site has healed? If not, ask about that because they're super easy to work with and when not in use, she'd just have the button under her clothes and she can wear anything - it looks like the plug on a beach ball. Plus with the Mic-key, even with tubing attached it lays flat against the baby's belly so you can have more freedom in how you dress her. A lot of moms find that once it's all healed and the baby is older - and GRABBING at things - they put a onesie on the baby that is a size too small so it's snug and the baby can't get her fingers around it to yank. Just some info for down the road...

yeah, i've been told after 12 weeks. her next appt is sometime in the end of april (trying to schedule it now) and that will be 12 weeks, so i assume after that appt. it will be done. i can't wait to get rid of that long tubing all the time!!!! there are so many cute things for her and emma to match in, but can't do it, b/c it's too hard with her feeding tube right now.........thanks for the info, tho!!!

Yes, the white one is vintage. I have gotten a few vintage/heirloom pieces on ebay. I will be getting his pics done in the in the next few months. I have a bunch of sailor suits too. I love old fashioned stuff and dressing him like a baby while I still can!

I love that 1st pic of Molly. Mad baby pics always crack me up. I love the name Molly too. I considered it as a girl name before we found out Gavin was boy.

I had to laugh when I read this Gavin NEVER fit into his newborn stuff. I put a newborn outfit on him and the pants were a couple inches too short. I am hoping that my next baby is in the "normal" sized baby range!

Are you tall?

Molly has only been in the 5th percentile for height since she was born, but 25-35th percentile for weight and head circumference. Doc is fine with that since she's growing consistantly and because I'm probably in the 1st percentile for height myself since I'm only 4'10" tall! Plus my husband is Filipino so we never expected an especially tall kid...

kelli: my ds was the same! he never fit into newborn diapers, he didn't fit newborn clothes, it was 0-3 months right from the beginning, size 1 dipes!

of course, he was also 10 lbs and 23.5 inches tall!1

dd was kinda the same. She was 21 inches, though, which made a HUGE difference in her size of clothes. since i'm way off with the weight gain this time, meaning gaining less than normal for me, I'm curious if I'll have a long/large baby? My dh and his family are very tall, all over 6'2" and honestly I don't expect a "normal" baby (which for us would be small).

Funny thing is, my dh and I are kinda giggly over the fact that if this baby is in the 8lb range, it'll be too small! :D we won't know what to do with it!!

Gavin was 10lbs 2oz and 22.5in. I am not tall but Mike is. Some people in my family have big babies and I am one of them. When I see tiny babies I think no fair! I never got to see Gavin when he was that small! I had to return newborn clothes and diapers. The good thing was that judging by my belly, I didnt think he would be small so I didnt buy much. He was big for awhile too. In 6-9months at 3 months. Now he is slowing down but he is still really tall.

Patty- They are too cute! Leata worked her way out of being swaddled and clothed too. She had such tiny little shoulders that they both came right out of her PJ's. The first night that she did it she woke up crying and shewas right beside me in her bassinet but I thought I would let her cry for a minute or two but I put my hand and her back to feel that she had squirmewd right out of her PJ's and she was freezing!
