ok ladies....i had lamented a few wks back that I got my periods..that was on Jan 6th and an hr back today (jan 24th), i went to the loo and jus found out my panty is stained again!!! Its jus 19 days!! what is happening!!! I am freaking out!
I dont have the usual cramps or any other symptom associated with AF...so what is this all abt!
HELP!

Your body could just be all out of whack. Maybe your hormones are just trying to straighten themselves out??

I think that is the prb too...i talked to my mil who is a doc and she told me not to worry...apparently many women go thro this for the first few months and then settle into a regular pattern.

I am so jealous! :lol: Your MIL is a doctor?! I'd be all over that one!! She'd hate me for bugging her for everything! LOL

I think it's breakthrough bleeding too. It'll take time.

:)...she is staying with us right now and I bug her abt everything!!!
She doesnt mind it though!! I am so glad she is arnd cuz I dont have to call my ped or gyn for anything related to my baby or me!

I started my period at 25 days post-delivery and am STILL bleeding 12 days later. The OB says it's because I started my birth control when I got my period - she says that the hormones in birth control combined with post-partum hormones can equal 2-3 MONTHS of irregular bleeding. GREAT!!!

It is your hormones....Progesterone is the guilty culprit. Your body has to maintain a high level of Progesterone to sustain a pregnancy so once the baby is born the level drops off....I'd give it another few weeks.

ya..i have read that the pills can cause irregular bleeding...but I am not on any!

And the bleeding was really heavy this time..only good thing was I had absolutely no pain!!
