I'm curious to hear about good doctors in Massachusetts. Anyone have a doctor that you really love and who is very understanding about PCOS?

I actually do love my doctor. Her name is Dr. Frances Hayes and she's at MA General. I have to say she's one of the best doctors I've ever seen in my entire life. Best of luck finding one!

Hi,

My doctor is officed out of Woman and Infants in Providence and his name is Shayne Plosker. He is a reproductive endocronoligist and his wife is my OB/Gyn and she was the one who diagonosed me. I love feeling that I am well taken care of by two doctors who are willing to work together in my treatment! Hope this helps.

I am seeing Dr. Merle Berger at Boston IVF (Fertility Clinic associated with Beth Israel Hospital)...Dr. Berger is the founder of the clinic and has been doing this work for 30 years...I think he's great!!

Dr. Chisholm diagnosed me three years ago. She's a fantastic OB/GYN working out of Cambridge City Hospital Women's Center and now somewhere in Revere also. You can google her. She never makes me feel bad about my weight; rather she's been very supportive.

DR. Keith Iaasacson.... Wonderful doctor, great reputation. He is part of Newton Wellsley Hospitol, in Newton MA. I was diagnosed before started seeing him.

Does anyone know of a good PCOS doctor in Western Massachusetts. I just moved to Amherst,MA and I need to get a new doc. I am not sure who to go to. Any help would be Great!! THanks girls.

Dr. Margaret Ferry in Greenfield or Dr. Stuart Chipkin at Valley Medical right in Amherst. I've had consults with both of them and they're great!!!

If anyone is looking for a good OBGYN in western Mass, my OBGYN is Edward Patten at Woman Care in Hadley and he's great.

I forgot to mention that both Drs. Chipkin and Ferry are endocrinologists. But I also have a great nurse practitioner in Greenfield who got the whole ball rolling for me. PM me if you want more info. Good luck!!!
