Hello! I am a newbie, and I live in Springfield, VA right off DC's infamous mixing bowl.
I am 23 and work for a nonprofit handling chapters in the South East US. I love my job, and have been at it for a few months now since I graduated college. My degree is in Communications.
I was recently semi-diagnosed. I have been on BC since I was 19 for a high testosterone level. My last 2 GYNs said I didn't have PCOS - yet always tested me while I was on BC, so I had a skewed reading. My new GYN said he is sure it is PCOS and since I am not trying to convieve, I will continue on BC.
I was on the patch, but hated it. So next Sunday I start Yasmin. Mainly because my emotions are out of control as well as my weight. I am into my 16th week of Weight Watchers, and have lost a slow 11.8 pounds. I am back into working out (I managed a Curves for a year), but as I am sure you know it's an everyday battle.
I love a buddy to chat with. I am not sure what type of support I need since I am not trying to concieve ... and not sure how to feel.
I use MSN during the day (jbarry@eonetwork.org) and email as well. Thanks!
