How soon did you begin exercising

I was wanting to start situps and the eliptical trainer at home in a few days. I feel great and am not sore at all. I should mention that this was not the case with DS, but I think the first time is much harder.

Just curious when you ladies began mild exercising. My stroller is finally arriving next Monday so I should be able to take walks then as well.

Vaginal, which I would think would mean I am okay but I am not sure. I dont want to wait 6 weeks.

I'd say take it at your own pace and just try not to overwork yourself. Starting with walking would be best. My SIL had a baby vaginally and was told not to jog until 4 weeks. I'd guess everyone's situation is different. I was out walking at 4 weeks PP after c-section, my sister was out the following week after vaginal delivery.

I started right away (meaning the day after discharge) with sit ups and 30-60 minute walks.

just kidding. I tried to get out and start walking probably around week 3? I also learned that in those early weeks putting Mason in the stroller and going for a walk in the morning he'd fall asleep by the time we got to the end of the street. NOW if I can just find the time to get to the gym...

Although, it DID snow in Malibu?!!?!? I swear, one snowflake on Hollywood Blvd, and Im tits up to my treadmill and runnin'!!

Well thanks ladies for all your replies, I think since i am feeling fine and the stroller finally arrives tomorrow thats my cue to start walking, plus ds deserves to go to the park
