Hello! My name is Ashlee and I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago, after my husband and I had been TTC for 18 months with no luck. I saw my family doctor who took labs and saw that my insulin level was VERY high, so she referred me to an endocrinologist. My Endocrinologist put me on 1500 mg of Metformin daily. My insulin levels have returned to normal and I feel much better physically. My husband and I decided to keep going with the Metformin and ride it out and see what happens, but now we feel we are ready to see a fertility specialist/reproductive endocrinologist and take the next steps in this journey. Anyone in or around Charlottesville?
