who the "BEST" is, is purely a matter of personal opinion.
I used Dr. Grifo and Dr. Liccardi at NYU
Here's their website: http://nyuivf.med.nyu.edu/

I use a doctor here on LI and i think he has an office in NYC. His name is Dr Edward Condon. He is the one who found the PCOS. I was given birth control by everyone else to deal with it and when i went off and wanted to start a family I found there was more to it than what met eye. The metformet (Fortement- which i am on) is wonderful and is also helps with fertility. I am expecting my 2nd child just from being on Metformet. Do not be discouraged. It works. Give it some time. Also because of PCOS you will not know when you are ovoulating so my suggestion is from the 10th day after your period until 2 days before your period have sex every other day. That is what i did and didn't need any other help. I know it is hard but will be worth it. My thoughts are with you.

I was treating at the Center of Human Reproduction at North Shore LIJ. All the doctors there are very knowledgable. I have also heard good things about Dr.Mukharje in NYC

I went to Dr. Steven Spandorfer at Cornell - he was amazing. Extremely good bedside manner, professional, knowledgeable and realistic.
Cornell and NYU are the best clinics in Manhattan, you can't go wrong with either of them. Cornell though, requires a more self-sufficient patient. So if you need alot of 'hand-holding' it may not be the right clinic for you. It can be intimidating BUT they have the absolute best lab in the country. Their embryologist invented ICSI (injected the sperm into an egg for IVF).
I used to go to Dr. Gleicher at the Center for Human Reproduction in Manhattan and would NOT recommend him. After our 3rd IVF attempt he STILL could not remember my name or my history.

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed a few years back and i'm only on the pill at the moment. I was thinking of going to see dr griffo at the nyu infertility clinic, however, I need some advice. Will they be able to advise me on the various drugs that are discussed on this board like metformin, etc. or should I be talking to an endocrinologist first? I've been married for the last couple of years and we want to try for kids w/i the year...any advice would be appreciated.
