I'm ttc on a budget. My metformin prescription only costs me $8, but getting the repeat blood tests to get the prescription is $500. Plus, i want to see if i can do it completely naturally this time.
SO. Where do you get cheap teas, vitamins, supplements in the rw or online? I just ordered from iherb.com and got fairly good prices, but was still 20$ for 2 boxes of Red raspberry leaf 2, 200 capsules of b6, and 200 capsules of vitex. I'm pleased with the prices and wanted to share with everyone, but also wanted to know if there's somewhere cheaper out there.
thanks!

Most of the stuff I take can be found online, at GNC or just regular ole' Walmart. I don't think there's anything that can't be found on Amazon.com so that's where I buy things that aren't so common in stores. Just bought a 2 bottles of Vitex (under $5 per bottle) and a bottle of Inositol (also $5) off Amazon the other day. The nice thing about amazon is they will also recommend other products based on your recent purchases so like when I put Vitex in my cart, it will automatically suggest other similar supplements/teas that others users also purchased with their Vitex. It's pretty handy. HTH :)

Don't use iherb. I spent almost $50 in products that I never received. They keep being delivered to the wrong address, and iherb won't do anything about it. They will try to send me new ones, but it's the packaging that's the problem. I won't be using them anymore.

I replied about this in another thread and here is where i saw you didn't want to do metformin any more. I would really recommend inositol. It is supposed to function the same way without side effects. I have seen some really positive results. I am on my 4th natural cycle. I ran out of inositol and my cycle went 60 days. I restarted it in that cycle and I think that is the only reason it ever ended! I posted an article about Metformin VS Inositol and in that study inositol helped 65% of the women to ovulate and 30% to get pregnant. Metformin helped 50% to ovulate and about 18% to get pregnant. Chances are if metformin helped you the first time inositol will help you just the same.
I am taking about 1500 mg or 1.5 g which is just 3 pills. The studies I have seen had people taking anywhere between 100mg and 4 grams. I figured I would go somewhere in between! HTH

Are you taking just inositol or a inositol and choline combo?

I am taking inositol only but there are others that take choline as well.
