I'm up in NoVA near DC...so it really would depend on the "where" we'd gather...because obviously if it's Roanoke it's too far for me to travel.

I am in NoVA area, I also have my limits of how far to travel. The location would be set based on when we get together and central for all of us. I cant begin to express how much the women here have helped me and been a needed support.
Where are you all located? I am in winchester but grew up in fairfax, I am willing to travel a little since I am so far out (even my family is in NoVA). If we can get enough women interested, I would like to advertise in some way for the women who dont know about this site to include as many women as we can. We understand eachother, the weight, the hair, the feelings of living with this. And if we are all realy spread out we could make it 1x a month, maybe rotate where the meeting is. This isnt my decision but all those interested in meeting regularly.

Hello ladies! I just got an email about these boards today. I am one of 3 moderators for the NOVA/VA PCOSA group. We have a yahoogroup and you can all join it if you would like. We have tried numerous times over the years (I have been involved since 2000) to get together on a monthly basis but it is so difficult and hard bc of the distance where everyone lives and their schedules.

It seems the majority is Loudoun/Fairfax. For you in other areas, maybe we can have a big PCOS picnic this summer and have a 1ce a year get together. I did a get together last year and met wonderful women, and maybe you can try to get a group in your area started. For those closer, what about 1ce a month near loudoun, if anybody knows of a place or has sugestions as where we can meet, and when everybody would like to meet.
