Advise for Acne, Oily Face, PCOS, etc...

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 weeks ago. I have had trouble with acne my whole life. I am now 26. I need to lose about 20 lbs, although my doctor says 10 for now. I'm sad, depressed, feeling worthless. I want a child. We have been trying for 1 year. I found out I was pregnant in August, but miscarried a week later. My OBGYN has put me on 750mg of metformin. I lost 3 lbs within the first 1 1/2 weeks, but have lost nothing since. I have tried everything for my acne, even Acutane 2 times!! I will not touch that stuff again since I am wanting to get pregnant. I'm just looking for some advice on acne, oily face, and pcos in general.

I've tried lots of stuff for my acne but the thing that works best is something I found on the internet about 4 years ago. I've been using it off and on ever since. It is called Carley's Clear and Smooth. If you "google" the name you'll get the website and can order it. The product is amazing and works on even the little "bumpies" on the side of my face. It is a lot cheaper than Proactive.

Hey Ladies!!

Thanks for the tip. I ordered this stuff last week and used it for the first time last night. I really like it so far (okay == only one use). Most things I try immediately break me out, but my skin actually looks better today. I hope the trend continues!!

I didn't have acne, per se. But, my skin has looked worse than usual in the past year (after having my son). This just might be the trick to keep it clear.

Good, I'm glad you are liking it so far. The bar of soap they give you is great to wash your face with before you put the treatment on. You will notice an incredible improvement within a week. I also didn't have really bad acne but when I lived in Hawaii I broke out really bad because of the tropical environment - Carley's was the only thing that worked for me.
