Child care?

Hi all,

I am peeking in from the PG board to ask your expert advice. I am wondering about the pros and cons of child care.

Do you take your baby/child to a daycare facility, someones home, do you have a nanny in your home? What is the best/worst things about it? I so wanted to be a SAHM but can not afford it.

When did you sign up? There is a 18 month waiting list for the daycare at my work!

In home daycare scare me. Just because you dont know who is coming in and out of the home. Family memebers or friends of the family. Meaning your child could be exposed to horrible things. IF I had to work I would chose daycare. THey usually are very organized done by a few women and have a securtiy policy and what not.
