Hi Moms,
Just need some opinions here. Hubby really does not want to use disposable diapers for environmental reasons. I am not opposed to using washables, was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? We were thinking about the ones with cloth on the inside and plastic on the outside and velco closures. Anyone use non disposables?

Pretty sure Amelie used reusable diapers, but I haven't seen her around in a while. I don't have any info for you, but I think they still have services that come and pick them up to wash them. Sorry I can't help you more!

I was a nanny for triplets and economy wise they used cloth with the velcro panties. It was a pain in the butt. But after about a week she switched to a diaper service where they come and pick up and wash AWSOME. Only way to do cloth in my opinion. Also do you know they make recycled diapers they are brown in color but better for the environment. If you want I can get the name from my sister she used them.

My friend uses fuzzi-bunz for her DD. I know they are expensive. If you go on ebay - people buy and re-sell used diapers. (Not something I would be ok doing) The thing with cloth diapers as you mentioned you have to buy many different sizes and it can cost. I agree about the environmental factor - you think they could make diapers that are ecco friendly?
