Hi girls!

First off I KNOW that I'm in the "wrong" forum, but I really thought that you guys might be better equipped to answer this question since you've "been there done that." My first little bundle of joy is due in March...in case anyone is counting, that means that we're about 6 mos. away from the 3rd member of our family joining us.

Everytime Hubby and I go to the store, we try to get *something* for Tadpole. (Since we don't know the s-e-x yet, that's what we've named him/her) We usually buy stuff like diapers or pacifiers or other such things.

We'll be having at least one shower (it's in February) and there's a chance that we'll be having another one as well. I know that we'll register for stuff then.

Here's my question (sorry girls, I'm long-winded today!):

All of a sudden this weekend I thought "HOW WILL WE KNOW WHAT ALL WE'RE SUPPOSED TO GET?!?!?" I know that a lot of it is common sense. And I've got "What to Expect..." but I've only read to the 5th month. Is there a checklist that some of you used that you found particularly useful? Of course, EVERYONE I've ever met is offering me way too much advice. I can't even keep up with it! I'm a "list" kind of girl. I need lists to mark off, etc. I was curious if any of you found anything (pre-baby) that helped you prepare for what all you would need? (and quantities)

I just thought of you guys and figured it was worth a shot! Let me know if you have any helpful advice!

If you register someplace like Babies R Us, they give you a checklist plus all kinds of brochures with information about what you need to get.
