Thank you Cassidy & Michele!!!!!!! Piper LOVED those animals and that book. In fact, we had to return one of those dogs to Target and then went searching for another toy. She saw the big Noah's Ark boat with the other animals and was pointing and going "ah" at it. So we had to buy that for her! Thanks for the wonderful toys! I was just thinking that I needed some Halloween stuff in my kitchen too! How cool!

Terra- I am soooo glad that everything worked out with the babysitting thing. That can be a really touchy situation.

Krissy- I sent out Halloween ones from Picture People- I spent a gazillion dollars there so I have no idea what they cost- $30 maybe. Walmart is waaaaaayyyyy cheaper. I have a friend that sends all of her party invitations with the kids pics- B’days, BBQ’s- every event. They are soooo cute too- she told me that they cost about $12. So I may be headed there for Christmas- I just like that the picture people have them to you immediately.

LM- I love the cold too. Hope you get lots done while Lucy is in school. Turkey for dinner??? Man, I am soooo glad that DH doesn’t read these posts- he gets turkey on Thanksgiving only. So if our DH’s ever meet at some Steamfitter function yours better keep his moth shut about how you cook for him…..

Michelle- I would have died with the egg thing and never ever eat them again- he!!, Howard Stern did a thing years ago on eggs and it took me years to eat them again. And yep, I just admitted that I am a closet Howard fan. Hope all goes well on Monday :wink:

Now, in case you guys didn't hear...I'm pretty dumb. :shock: Here, LisaMarie has been sending me secret pal stuff. So, we were emailing back and forth and I mentioned to her that I hadn't received anything from my secret pal. I just thought she sent me something because my pal didn't get anything to me yet. So, she emails back "DUH, I'M YOUR PAL!!" I truly never thought of that :lol:

So, aside from being too stupid to play secret-pal, I'm loving every minute of it!!!

And, yes, Hannah -- I sent the note and recipe. I was so bummed...the lady at the post office wouldn't let me send anything international without a return address. I tried to explain my secret pal, but she didn't seem amused. Guess national-security trumps our little game!!! :wink:

Thank you to my secret pal in Florida. The coupons will definitely be used but the card is fantastic. Cassidy loved loved loved it and actually screamed when I took it away from her. It is one that plays mucis when you open it. She was even laying her head on the back of the card to feel the vibrations- it was really cute.

Okay, I'll admit that I saw the Devils at a craft show. So, those I stole (I call it research). The ghost is just like the devils...just with white fabric rather than the kleenex that I've seen used in the past. And, the pumpkin baggies were just an idea I came up with for a church-function. Didn't know if I could use any other decorations (I never know how people will react to "halloween") so I decided to make pumpkins filled with candy.

Thanks to my secret pal for the breast cancer awareness little box - it is so cute!
It was on the front porch last night and dh brought it in. He said what did you buy now? I told him I didn't think anything, but open the box. (I was in the middle of bf) He pulled it out, read the note and said, "It's from your secret pal?" I said, "yeah, from the forum." Then he shuffled his feet like a little kid and said, "I wish I had a forum with secret pals who sent me stuff." He was all pouty. "I got kicked off my forum. I thought he was just joking, but he explained the story and this Univ. of Texas fan forum that he was on he got the boot! Man, they are so clickish and STRICT! lol
