Newbie :) Has anyone taken vitex?

Hi everyone.

i'm new. i found this site just by surfing the net and lookin for info on vitex and pcos, I was was wondering if anyone has ever used vitex? if so, dod it work for you? were there any side effects?

I've been taking Vitex for about 2 months now but it hasn't done anything yet. I read that it takes 3-6 months for any results. As for side effects the only thing i've noticed was some breast tenderness.

i've taken it. it took a couple of months, but i did notice that when i took it, my cycles were a bit shorter. i currently take it in liquid form as part of my formula of herbs from the naturopath.

I took it for quite awhile. It helped me shorten time between cycles and I did get pregnant on it and sublingual progesterone. I am now taking it in a blend with other supplements but I like it. It took about 3 months for it to kick in for me though..
