Hi Miserynis,

I am a Michigan PCOS woman! lol. I was diagnosed on August 11 and have been on Met for 8 days now. Needless to say I am at the beginning of my jouney and battling all the symptoms from the Met along with depression and anxiety with my new found battle along the TTC road. Sounds like we found out about our PCOS at about the same time. I'm new to this as well. I am very lucky to have a 16 month old son and got pregnant with him when I was having irregular periods but didn't know it was PCOS. I had the Mirena put in after he was born because we thought we'd wait a little longer but decided to have it removed in December. I've had irregular periods since so I decided to see the dr. He did u/sounds and b/w and diagnosed me. I never imagined this!

I live in Farmington, MI which is in metro Detroit. My doctor wants me to try Femara or the shots. I go on Thursday for an "informational" session where they'll go over the treatments and costs...since my BCBS wont pay for "infertility".

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one dealing with anxiety and depression about this. :)
