PCOS doc in NYC/LI

Hello. I am looking for an Endocrinologist in NYC or LI who knows what they are talking about. I have been to 3 Endos, and I think I need more help. Please let me know. Thanks

Hi, I just figured I would give you some information. If you are looking for an End. I went to Dr. Christine Resta. She is on the Horace Harding Expressway (LIE service road) near 164th. If you are looking for an RE, I go to Dr. Steven Spandorfer out of New York Presbyterian - Cornell in the city 70th and York. I have been a patient of his since 2002. He also has office hours on Wednesday in Queens. Hope this helps.

I go to Dr. Daniel Stein, a reproductive endocrinologist in New York City. He is affiliated with St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital and his office is on 59th Street on the West side. He only takes Aetna, I think, but if you have it, you're in luck. I find him to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Willing to spend time with patients to discuss not only medications, but lifestyle changes. Only complaint is that no matter what appointment you make (first morning, last evening, etc.) you will wait in his waiting room FOREVER. But you feel taken care of once you're called, which is more than I can say for many doctors when it comes to PCOS.

I would recommend going to the Center for Human Reproduction at the North Shore Univ Hospital in Manhasset. The REs there are AWESOME!
