Hi ,

My name is Joanna, I'm 24 yrs old and 'm new here, I have not been officially diagnosed with PCOS since I currently do not have health insurance, but alot of the symptoms I have seem to point in that direction. I was wondering if you all could give me your opinions. Some of my symptoms have included irregular periods, I often go 3-4 months in between them, facial hair on my face, discolortion and skins tags under my arms and on sides of my thighs, weight gain, esp around my middle and face. I would appreiate any and all opinions! Thanks in advance

I would definitely suspect PCOS. It's not a disease, but a syndrome which is basically a bunch of symptoms. It's difficult to diagnose and is usually done so by it's symptoms.

I suffer from the following symptoms: weight gain, dark skin patches, oily skin, hair loss, unwanted hair, possibly infertility....

I am puzzled because I do have a period every month. It's not "28" days apart, but I do get one every month. :?:
