Hi Everyone, I have to start by saying how glad I am to have found this forum:D In Australia, we have one kind and it costs a fortune each year so I didn't join. But then I found this website!

I'm new to all of this and struggling a bit, I wanted to get pregnant this year and it's not going well.

I have started Met 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks on 500mg a day and now 1000mg a day. I was pretty fine till starting the 1000mg at breakfast each day.

I often feel like I have indigestion and have had some funny spells late morning where I shake, get confused and generally feel yuck.

Does anyone else have this? Any tips to combat it?

Thanks

Yes, Met has some interesting side effects but will regulate your insulin resistance. Keep taking it ...when your body gets use to it you will start to feel better and notice a positive change! Make sure you exercise it will take away the nausea and constipation. Also if you experience constipation try Activa yogurt. Good luck :)

Hi there,

These spells that you are experiencing may be low blood sugar. Try eating 6 small meals each day and when you feel as you described, have something to eat.

Take care of you.
