Lightheadedness--Normal or Abnormal?

I've been on Metformin for two and a half months or so. Recently, I was sick with an ear infection that moved into my throat and lungs and then my nose...and is still kind of lingering but the ears are clear. Anyways, after that whole thing (and during it) I started feeling lightheaded at times. It is fine when I stay inactive all day, but I'm a college student and I have papers and classes and work-study. I can't remain inactive. :(

Is lightheadedness a normal side effect after a sinus infection?

It could be, but would be related to the ear infection and not the Met.
