I am miraculously pregnant, and am hoping that after the baby comes I will feel a little better and have my hormone levels and stuff return more to normal. Anyone have any experience with this? Or did your symptoms just stay about the same?

So far (15 months later), mine are about the same. Had a few "normal" periods after Matthew was born, but the cycles were getting longer and longer, so I'm sure they would've stopped eventually. Am on bcp now.
My symptoms were mild to begin with.
Congrats!!

Thanks for asking this question Tammy. I am just 3 weeks postpartum so haven't had a chance to see what my body is going to be like now. I'd be interested to see other people's experiences.
I had my babies in December and as soon as I stopped nursing (due to low milk supply) I had my very first "natural" AF in May - I've had one every 40 days since. My hormones "feel" normal but I take no meds - I've decided to use an IUD (the one with no hormones) as b/c for now. I have gotten a few skin tags, which I never had before - but other than that I feel great!
Oh, btw - I lost all my baby fat within two months because of nursing but put it back on shortly after due to a high carb eating habit. I now have exercised it back off again but feel so much more energetic since changing my diet/exercise habits. I think that may have helped with my hormones too.
Good luck!

Ever since the birth of Aiden I've had AF 28 days to the day which is so strange for me considering prior to my pregnancy I didn't have AF on it's own for over 2 years it always had to be medically induced. I'm not sure if I O now or not though?

My symptoms did not improve at all. They may actually be worse now. Congrats on your pregnancy though.

My symptoms are at least as bad if not worse. They were better for several months after I had Leata, but not anymore.

I've never had a cycle less than ~55 days without the help of met, BCP or provera...I didn't notice a change of symptoms after delivering...and as some have said, I think they may have been worse. The only time my symptoms seem less is during pregnancy OR on BCP.

Mine are significantly better. My cycles are 35-42 days now whereas before it was only 3 times a year, my pms is very mild, no new skin tags although I'm noticing more facial hair. I know I didn't O last cycle (bloodwork verified) but last cycle I also didn't have the pelvic pain I usually have with my cycles so I think I do usually O.
Weight is still the same ~ to the pound back when I found out I was pg in September 2004 ~ although my boobs are smaller now. I also don't find near as many cysts in my breast when I do the occasional exam and I don't have the breast tenderness I used to get around AF start.
I'm really hoping things are on the straight and narrow now as we are ttc #2 now. I started taking met 3 days ago.

I felt better for about three months post-partum and then it all came back. But I really enjoyed the break!!!! I had one period and I didn't have to shave my chin!

I'm back to my own body. :? I was good for 3-4 months after but now at 8 months back not ovulating and all the wondreful PCOS symptoms are back. :x
In addition to having AF every 40 days, I've just noticed new hair growth - on my head of all places, LOL! I'm hoping my hormones have been "reset" because of the pregnancy.

My symptoms seem the same. hirsutism, stubborn weight, etc. Our son is almost 11 months and I'm still nursing him. Worried when I stop the weight will really pile on. Have had 1 "natural" period since he was born about 5 months ago but that's it. Have been off low dose bcp for 1 month. TTC #2
