I am told now I have PCOS. Bilateral cysts on ovaries. I have been on Glumetza 2000mg a day (metformin) and 200 mg aldactone. My testosterone has dropped but my DHEAS just won't. It is 529 and is going nowhere. I have been on meds for all this year and the highest doses. NOw the doc is mentioning using Byetta which is a shot 2 times a day that works to help the insulin. Has anyone used it here or know anything about it? I hate meds, I tried to avoid them. I have dieted, exersized,used suppliments but nothing will lower this DHEAS levels. I am desperate.
