Hi...I know there's lots of cinnamon info out there and I may have missed reading this in my search through the posts...am I understanding correctly that a dose of about 1 teaspoon per day of cinnamon is thought to be enough to control the IR? Or is it 1 teaspoon with every meal? I took cinnamon pills a couple of years ago and seem to remember taking them several times a day (but my memory isn't so good so I may be remembering wrong). I think they helped but I stopped when I became pregnant - now my daughter is almost a year old and in the last week I think the PCOS symptoms have reappeared (or just gotten strong enough for me to be aware of them again) so it's time to get back on track with treating them.

Hi,
I am not sure how much cinnamon to take in teaspoons? I take 5oo mg capsules twice daily. I buy a big bottle at Walmart for under $10. I found it was easier than trying to take it another way. Sorry I could not be more help. It has worked for me so I will be taking it basically forever! I had terrible side effects on Met and could not take it.
Take care

I believe you take one teaspoon of cinnamon per day. It helps to reduce blood glucose levels. I can't really remember much more than that. Sorry!!

Hi,
How much cinnamon can you take daily before it effects your health or stops being effective?
