We have been TTC #1 for almost 2 years. I was dx with PCOS in 2003 but only started tracking my cycles when we started TTC. After months of BFN's, we just started to not track anything, no opk's, no hpt. Well, I felt like I had nothing to do! LOL. So (when this site went down), I came across soulcysters.com and info about herbs and PCOS. I also found the site babyhopes.com and the product FertilAid. I read and researched in ingeridents and that's when I found Vitex.

The above link is one site I found while researching. I've been taking it since 1/09 and my cycles went from 37 days to 34, and I feel better. Acne is less and hair on my lip is lighter. BUT, DO NOT USE WITH CLOMID. I've found tons of info on the web about herbs to try; but you need to give them 3-6 months to work and everyone's body is different. I'm self medicating, but you can find a naturopath (herb doc) to help. I found a few in Michigan for about $300 for the first visit.
I just wanted to pass some info along and encourage you to research other methods if you are scared or don't want to start Clomid right away. For me, I'm taking herbs until June 1st, then starting Clomid in July. BUT, I hope to get a BFP before then!! I think herbs are worth a try!:)
