Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Yoo hoo!!!!! Anyone here?!?

I thought I'd start this thread as I'm having nerves about TTC again. We're in our two weeks wait and I was fine until yesterday (8 DPO) when my BBT went sky high.. the only time they've ever been this high was when I was preggo.

I didn't think I'd be as frazzled about the idea of being pregnant again, but it just kinda hit me like.. Wow.... here we go AGAIN!

I think I need to put the worry off a la Scarlett OHara until I hit testing day on 14 DPO.

I'm here. I started clomid this morning and for the first time ever, I'm temping! OPKs work for me so I've never done it but my doc said I should give it a try.

Good luck this month!

Hi girls! I'm still here. I'm in the 2WW also. I'm trying not to think about it too much. School is keeping me busy.

Jessica - good luck with clomid! I've been temping for a while, but I'm thinking about using OPKs as well. I hate to spend the money, though!

Iowa - day 14 will be here before you know it!

It has been slow here, hasn't it?

Much love, ladies! Baby dust to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JessicaH.. Good luck with Clomid! My family friend who also has PCOS conceived with it. Hopefully you'll get your BFP this month! :-D

TigerGal.. This 2ww is the worst I've ever had. Before, I was kinda like what happens will happen because I didn't think I could get pregnant. Now that I know I can.. it's DREADFUL! lol

bbmk2.. Thank yoh!! :-D

Thanks girls. I conceived Lily and my mc on clomid so I'm trying to be positive. I'm taking progesterone starting 2 days after O this time in hopes for a better result. As it turns out, I did O last month but my prog levels were SO low that I couldn't get AF on my own. Also when I mc, at 6 weeks pg my prog level was 0.6. Crazy to think I never even had it tested with Lily and everything was great.

Hi girls! I'm still here too.

I'm also in the 2WW, and I agree with everyone, it's killing me. I'm about 9 or 10 DPO and feeling like I'm seeing some signs I saw last time, but I'm just not sure, and I don't want to get my hopes up. But let's be honest, I'll be devastated if I'm not pregnant, even though I know it may not happen this time.

Good luck everyone! I hope we can have some success stories over here soon. We need some!

HUGS!!

betsy - thanks! I need to roll around in baby dust right about now!

beth - I agree, we do need more success stories. It makes me sad to read about everyone else's success stories. It's OUR turn!

Iowa - you're getting closer and closer to 14 DPO! Hang in there!

Jessica - good luck with the progesterone!

I hope and pray this is OUR month!

Well, I hope this is the start of a success story! I tested yesterday on a whim. I was 12 DPO according to FF, and sure enough, BFP! :D DH and I are thrilled.

We were on our way yesterday up to my parents house to stay for our College Homecoming (we went to a small school and a lot of our friends live nearby and come most every year). So, we decided to throw caution to the wind this time and tell people as we see them and we're ready to. I know of people who have miscarried MUCH farther along since I did, and so it can happen anytime, and either way, we know we want/need our family and friends' support. Plus, we had a chance to tell my parents and our friends in person, so we did. We figure it's more people sending up prayers for a healthy outcome this time.

We told about 10 of our closest friends while we were waiting for our table at dinner. I told them about my crazy dream the night before, dreaming that my friend Lisa (who was there) was pregnant and I said it was weird b/c the last time I dreamed someone was pregnant (my sister) I found out the next day that I was pregnant. And I told them imagine my surprise to find out that after that dream I found out I was pregnant! (Lisa screamed). It was a fun reaction, as was telling my parents (we gave them a card that said it).

I think we're all very guarded, but I'm trying not to let my fear ruin my excitement. I hate that it'll never be quite as exciting as the first time, but DH and I are both trying to have a good attitude.

Okay, long post, I know, but I just wanted to share some thoughts with y'all. You're the ones who understand best. :) HUGS!!

I got a verrrryyyyy light BFP this morning.. so light I'm doubting whether it will stick or not. It's one of those you think it's a trick of light at first and you move it around to see.. but alas, it's still there.

I'll test again tomorrow morn before I feel confident it's a bona fide BFP.. but let's keep our fingers crossed. :-D

I'm not counting it as a real BFP until it's darker... just in case it's a chemical.

Bethshine & Sarah Sending you both TONS of sticky dust!!!! :D

Iowa I hope this is it for you! It sounds promising :D. My line this time was really faint at 14 dpo and now we're 21 weeks, so faint doesn't necessarily mean anything bad ;). Keeping everything crossed for you that I can!!!

It's wonderful to see so many grads from the Loss board all at once! I hope it continues . :D

Thanks everyone!

I'm pretty sure this is a solid BFP. My body temps (regular) are up really high like they were last pregnancy. (99.4... my normal post ovulation body temp never gets any higher than 98.9 and is usually only 98.6.) I'm having the wonderful ovary pain again.. and of course, I got another really faint BFP.

I guess it makes me a bit worried because last pregnancy I got the BFP on day 12... whereas this one (if it's meant to be) I didn't get a BFP until 14 DPO.

We'll see.. tomorrow morning's test will be decisive!

Iowa--Every pregnancy is different so don't worry about what day you got the BFP. Last preg you might have caught the egg early in the "window" and this time the spermies caught up to the egg at the end of the window.... Fertilized eggs also implant at different rates. With my twin pregnancy, at 14DPO the HPT lit up like a christmas tree instantly. With this last pregnancy, I had barely visible lines at 14DPO and didn't get a clear, dark positive until 17DPO.

CONGRATUALTIONS!!!:)

SO it's a DEFINITE BFP today! lol I'm thinking the HCG levels were borderline yesterday and the day before which resulted in the verrrryyy light BFP and the BFN.

The line was still light, but DEFINITELY there! woo hoo!!

10-15-2008, 04:21 PM
Iowa OMG, congrats!!! :D I was so hoping that BFN was false and you'd get a sticky little bean! :D I'm so excited for you!!!

Hi I'm new here, TTC #2 since 6/07. I had an ectopic pg/mc in mid-August 08 that took a really long time to resolve (6 long weeks ugh), and I still have to have an hsg before DH and I get the "all clear" to start ttc again. Meanwhile, I'm back on metformin, using the fertility monitor, and DH and I are scheduled to meet with a fertility specialist in mid-Nov. So I guess we are sort of pre-TTC more than actively TTC right now lol!

Beth - Congrats! Best of luck to everyone else!
