Come someone give me an education about it. I see that a lot of people take it but what exactly does it do? How much should you take?
Thanks in advance.

There is some additional information on one of the stickies so I would recommend reading that if you haven't yet.
I take 500 mg a day and it's supposed to help regulate blood sugar levels.

500mg/day worked great for me for awhile, but after awhile it started losing a bit of its effectiveness...so now I'm on 1000mg/day. It's working great so far :)

I ate breakfast at 7am - it's now after noon and I'm still not hungry!! Woohoo!!

I'm thinkin about takin Cinnamon instead of Met. I have tried Met for a while but wasn't like the side effects and didn't really see anything change. But when I was on Proazc (thing that's how you spell it...) and takin Spiro and I was def. seein results and so did my Dr.
What are the side effects of Cinnamom?

here is what i found out about cinnamon.
"Are there any side effects or interactions?
Some people develop bronchial constriction or skin rash after exposure to cinnamon.9 Therefore, only small amounts should be used initially in people who have not previously had contact with cinnamon, and anyone with a known allergy should avoid it. Chronic use of the concentrated oil may cause inflammation in the mouth. According to the German Commission E monograph, cinnamon is not recommended for use by pregnant women.10
At the time of writing, there were no well-known drug interactions with cinnamon" (vitamin's shoppe health notes).
i hope this helps
