anyone tried the Diane BCP?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried Diane or Dianette birth control? I read some things about its anti-androgen properties, and I'm looking for reduction in facial hair. I've tried Spiro and Vaniqua but didn't notice any difference.

I've never heard of that, but a doctor once prescribed me Mercette as a BCP for that reason... but it totally threw whatever sex drive I had left out the window, PLUS sex became painful at that point for some reason. So it's clearly not for everyone, but definitely worth a try, since you may not have the same problem I did. Good luck!

I was on it for years (until starting ttc last year) and it worked quite well. I initially went on it to manage acne and it was fantastic. I have heard mixed reviews about it and I'm not sure if it's possible to get in Canada right now. I know that it has been used in Europe for years. I would check with your doctor and do some research.

I was very happy with it.
