Has anyone experienced being sore after a natural miscarriage? I feel very tender at times and sometimes even when I sit down I have a pain. My expelled clots and ect on Wed thinking it was over then this morning I expelled what looked like the sac as it was more flesh like. I only experience bad cramping on wed and some heavy bleeding since then just a normal flow. I was surprised this morning when I went to the rr that I expelled what appeared to be the sac? Is this normal?? Does it usually take several days to get rid of everything? After this morning the bleeding, al least for now is pretty light?
Thank you all for you help!

Kelley--I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I had more information or help for you, but my situation was very different from yours. But I can share with you that what you are experiencing seems normal for a natural miscarriage.
I hope your doctor will do an u/s to make sure that all of the tissue has passed. It's extremely important that the uterus be cleared to prevent infection.
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss and I pray your healing begins quickly.

Kelley...I'm so sorry for your loss. Everything you've experienced is normal. With my 1st miscarriage I bled for about a month. My second it was like a "normal" period...lasting about a week. Each time I naturally expelled a sac like clot. But if you experience severe bleeding soaking thru a pad an hour call your doctor!
