I understand that with PCOS the best choice for OC is those with low androgen levels. I have not gone to a GYN yet. Which OC is best for PCOS... Yasmin vs Ortho Tricyclen?

I was on ortho for years and dealt with the side effects of being very moody on a monthly basis - just seemed more volatile. My doctor switched me over to Yasmin (I think it has been 2 years now) and I've never looked back. I've had no side effects whatsoever.

I have very bad mood swings atleast one a day and have been on yazmin for about 2 years. could this be making them worse?
I switched birthcontrol pills to Yasmin 2 months ago, and I do have to say that my SEVERE PMS has been non-existent since then! Am sure my husband is very happy about that, I know I am. Hoping it will help with other matters as well, but very happy with it so far!

I was on Yaz for about 5 years. I am in the process of being diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor switched me to Ortho Lo because she thought that I may have Cushions Disease because of my stretch marks. (um hello you get stretch marks when you gain weight! that doesnt mean there is a disease right?!?!) She said that Cushions Disease mimicks PCOS and if it is indeed Cushions, that Yaz would be doing more damage to me. I get my results on Monday but I honestly cant tell the difference between the 2. I have not had problems with either.
